Tangible Interactions
A two-week introductory workshop to electronics and programming. The short and open brief was to explore the creative opportunities of a physical everyday objects through the use of microcontrollers, sensors and code.
MIOID™ is a doorbell with multiple input and output options. This allows for the visitor to specify in what way their arrival is to be announced.

The main components used are: Adafruit Circuit Playground Express, Adafruit Crickit, toggle switch, potentiometer, NeoPixel ring - 24 x, arcade push button and a loudspeaker.

CODE
The program for the doorbell was written using CircuitPython.

BUILD AND TEST
This work consisted of soldering, wiring and a lot of debugging both physical connections and code. The casing was made using 2mm acrylic blanks, nuts and bolts.
